Rear mounts are not more problematic, the newer stuff is problematic because of the technology all the sensors, verses having something mechanical. I would look to have something refurbished before I would buy something new….

Is the E-One tower going to be replaced or what is the plan for the purchase of the new tower?
It was noted not long ago by someone else that rear mount towers just seem to be problematic. Rear mount towers have been around for a long time, why is it that these types of rigs are continuously high maintenance?

The current tower is 8 years old and always out of service it seems. I’m sure the 3-4 year build time has something to do with this.
