Yes they did those 531 and 906 V12’s were monsters. Later WAUKESHA 6 cylinder engines were more common by the late 1960’s and of course DETROIT DIESEL and CUMMINS made their way into those toward the end of the production run.

The motors for those Seagraves were built by Seagrave and had dual ignitions with two sets of sparkplugs on every cylinder. Looking under the hood was just as impressive as the rest of the vehicle.

I always look forward to “Throwback Thursday” since you never know what will come up here. Beautiful classic that had a nice long production run from 1951-1970. The outward appearance had few changes over that time. Just imagine if SEAGRAVE still built a modern version of this today.
