Correct, sir however there are some proprietary parts specific to PACCAR. Good motor don’t get me wrong, just not as easy to come across PACCAR parts.

The Paccar PX9 is a Cummins L9 rebadged. The other Paccar motors use many Cummins parts, especially emission system parts.

The DD13 is a nice engine though!
PACCAR is good too but limited support compared to Cummins.

Because DETROIT only offers that engine in sister DAIMLER products now.
I think PIERCE does or will offer PACCAR engines. Hey, I’m a decades long CUMMINS stockholder so no tears being shed over DETROIT dropping out.

Why does Pierce not offer the DD13 engine any longer?
