This from Mike Summa for #TBT:
For TBT-The Merrionette Fire Dept.’s Engine 1 (later 2603), a 1976 Seagrave 1250/500. Shown in Blue Island at a fire muster supplying water for the water ball competition. I do like the Chicago style light.Mike Summa

The FWD/Seagrave cab over engine was roughly 1965. The 1976 Seagrave replaced a mid 1950’s FWD.

I like how the K and subsequent P remained pretty much unchanged. Milwaukee had just one 1964 SEAGRAVE K pumper that got me hooked on fire apparatus in the mid 1970’s. I only found out years later that it was built the same year I was.

Classic Cincinnati style cab great color combination and of course the Chicago style lights I believe they also had a FWD/SEAGRAVE engine I can’t remember the year though……..
