This from Eric Haak:
Here are some images taken at the Good Friday fire at Antioch Baptist Church in Chicago. The fire went to a 3-11. I was on the scene within 5 minutes and was able to catch the early progression of the incident that was caused by workers using a propane torch on the roof.

Back in 2018 here in Milwaukee, a very old and historic church (TRINITY LUTHERAN) burned due to a roofer accidently kicking over a hot tar kettle(or some such thing). Very extensive damage but they are pretty much completed. Very long process and as is with ANTIOCH BAPTIST, nobody was hurt.

Too many fires start this way, and is mostly preventable. A good roofing crew has multiple fire extinguishers on stand by, and within reach when using a torch. This is why you have to pick a company that isn’t the cheapest, but the safest. Hopefully insurance and the company who started it will pay out, but I have my doubts. I hope the congregation can rebuild.

Very glad nobody was hurt. I hope and pray that this congregation can get thru this. It certainly wasn’t their fault.
