The Village of La Grange is auctioning this 2001 Freightliner FL50 ambulance. This vehicle is in fair condition and is powered by a Cummins ISB-225 engine, paired with an Allison 1000 Series transmission, which was recently rebuilt. There are several pictures and an original specification sheet in pdf form. I don’t know the chief of this dept. so I can’t comment on him specifically.
Unfortunately, fire chiefs are like NFL coaches. They get fired or retire and pop up somewhere else. Not saying it’s bad or good but it’s odd to me how some chiefs completely f&^* up a dept. then gets fired, and then gets hired at a neighboring dept. who already know his background.

I thought that they were going to be donating it to Loyola that’s what i heard when I was there
