From Wayne VanBeveren :
I spotted these in a public works yard at 202nd and Ashland in Chicago Heights. There’s an unknown trailer, a former ambulance/police command center, ex-squad 663, and a former ladder truck.

Does anyone know if the truck runs and if the want to sell it?

The squads body is a RSQ. They had or still have a 1989/1990 Seagrave as well.

I think that truck went out in 2019. The current lineup is
Station 1 ( POC division) is closed
Station 2 has the 2002? HME Smeal engine as 652, the matching tower ladder is there now there as 672, the ex- Tinley Park 1996 Spartan/Darley engine (no pump now) runs as squad 692 and there is ambulance 682 that takes forth calls. Total crew of 4
Station 3 has the HME Aherns fox from around 2008 as 653, ambulance 683 and shift commander in car 670. Total crew of 5
Station 4 has a 2019? Spartan Smeal quint that’s runs as 674 and ambuLance 684 total crew of 4. This station is first due to Olympia Fields
Station 5 has the 1997 Spartan Ferrera engine as 655 and ambulance 685
Total crew of 4. Minimum for the shift is always 17 personnel.
The 4 frontline ambulance are 2 – 2016 Ford and a 2018 Ford all with wheeled coach boxes and 1 2016 chevy frontline box.
The squad in the photo is a 1995 Ford chassis. Idk who built the body. It was set up to pull that trailer which was a Haz-mat trailer that I think through the years also had tech rescue stuff and could be used as a command post.
The truck was a 1971 Seagrave I think. They also had or have a 1980 Seagrave jb as a reserve engine.
Anyone with updates on this please fill in gaps or make corrections

When was the truck taken out of service and what took it place?
I thought that was still running as of a few years ago.
