  Certainly a handsome classic here right from Beautiful Downtown Burbank.
  “May your only daughter’s wedding be catered by the NBC Commissary”.
  Sorry, when I saw Burbank, I always think of Johnny Carson.

  Beautiful rig!!! Very similar to Dolton’s. Burbank had a 2nd B95, Engine 209, which was equally sharp and had ladders on both sides. During a period of time, Burbank was an all Mack fleet, except for their Sutphen aerial tower. They had the 2 B95 pumpers, 3 CF pumpers and a R series heavy rescue. One of the CF’s, a ’87 with Ward 79 bodywork, ironically replaced Engine 208 (pictured). This CF was later sold to Homewood Acres a few years ago. Thanks for sharing Mike!

  Another great photo of the past back in that time not only were B model Mack popular in Chicago they were also popular in the southern suburbs. Besides Burbank which I believe had two you also had Hometown,Chicago Ridge, Palos Park, Hometown, and Dolton to name a few. Thanks again Mike for the Memories
