Structure fire is 2 engines, 1 truck, 1 ambo, 1 BC, and EMS 1 if in service. Additional alarm will bring 2 engines, 1 truck, 1 ambo, and 1 BC. High rise gets 3 engines, 2 trucks, 2 ambos, and 2 BCs.

FFPM03, whats a structure fire response for Aurora? AFD is somewhat of a mystery thanks to the Opensky radio system you and Naperville run…Naperville is a bit less mysterious with Pulsepoint now

Currently we have 9 stations, running a total of 9 engine companies, 3 truck companies, 7 ambos, and 3 battalion chiefs. Staffing is 3 on every engine and truck and 2 medics on the ambos. Most of our engines are ALS now so at least 1 medic runs on most engines, trucks are all BLS. Here’s the breakdown:
Central – Engine/Medic 1, Truck 2
3 – Engine/Medic 3, Battalion 2
4 – Engine/Medic 4
5 – Engine/Medic 5
7 – Engine/Medic 7
8 – Engine/Medic 8, Truck 6
9 – Engine 9
10 – Engine/Medic 10, Truck 11
12 – Engine 12
Several Hazmat, dive, reserve engines/trucks/ambos are housed at different stations also.

FFPM03,
What is Aurora’s current apparatus in service? Engines, trucks, stations? What is the staffing on each? Thanks.
