Very well thought out truck!!! A few nice features I’m noticing is the ATP above the rear wheels, C series and M series lights, Fire Tech lights, and the compartment in the front bumper! Looks great and I’m sure it’ll service the community well!

Buffalo Grove runs the following.
Station 25
A25 (2)
Tower 25 (3)
Squad 25 (2) only if extra manpower permits or hired back for special weather events. Will also be staffed by Station 25 personnel for special calls
Station 26
Engine 26 (3)
Ambulance 26 (2)
Battalion 4 (1)
Station 27
Quint 27 (3) jump company with A27
Ambulance 27 (3) jump company with Q27
Engine 27 replaces Quint 27 when the quint has to go out of service or move to Station 25
Ambulance 27 can also be staffed independently of Q27 when manpower permits or is needed.

Buffalo Groves KME is now a reserve truck. They do have a 2016 E-one engine and quint that are at stations 26 and 27. To the best of my knowledge the Squad is used for Hazardous Materials calls.

I’m confused as to how buffalo grove mans their stations? For example.. do they still have the 2003 kme quint? Is engine 27 manned or reserve? Is the squad a jump company or just hazmat? What spare rigs do they have? Was there ever an engine at station 25 or was it always the tower/quint?
Thank you,
Sebastian

This rig does look sharp! What will be kept in the extended front bumper? I am guessing the Jaws of life.

The rig is starting to look sharp. That shade of red or maroon really looks good. I wonder how much of a take off line they will have, perhaps an 1 3/4″. They technically will be a quint, and since they run without an engine it might come in handy. At least Arlington Heights Engine 4 isn’t far away.
