Harry this event has been getting smaller and smaller every year. The fire service isn’t what it used to be, which is sad. CFD takes Rigs out of houses all the time. Especially for the engineers classes. They try to take several different styles of apparatus so the guys get familiar with all of them. Most engineers are relievers when they get into the field until they find a spot.

I was disappointed not as many rigs coming and as for engine 103 I was told it has been there for a while because they are using it as a training rig

I believe 103 received their E-One last year. Prior to that they were in a Luverne.

When did Engine 103 get the E/One?

Awesome apparatus pics! Looked like a great time, as I am disappointed that I couldn’t make it this year. Thanks for posting Steve! I love that CFD FWD tiller, it’s coming along.
Is that white/red FWD pumper, Engine 854, a former Rosemont, IL engine?
