Looks nice, hope it holds up for them!

This is what it will look like:
Station 1 Quint 704 and Ambulance 701
Station 2 Engine 710, Ambulance 703 and Battalion 7
Station 3 Tower 709
All fire suppression has a minimum of 3 personnel and each ambulance has 2.
Minimum staffing is 14 per day.
The Snorkel is reserve at Station 1

Sounds like the current engine 704 will be sold if 711 goes to reserve?
That makes new quint 704 first due out of station 1.
Strictly from a “Joe taxpayer” perspective, I think they are or would be quite useful for most suburban departments. Especially those that don’t man or even have a truck. Provides many engine and rescue capabilities (properly equipped) and the added benefit of an aerial stream. And generally not a ton more cost than an engine.
For Bedford with already having a truck and a ladder, I would love to know the thought and consideration for the change from an engine to a quint. Pleasant view seems to make running their truck and quint, generally first due, quite effective.
Cool to see the variety in a single dept.

So there going to have some type of truck at all stations? Sounds like good move.

This will go in service at Station 1. Engine 711 will become reserve.

Is this a replacement or addition to the fleet?
