Thanks for the clarification- I figured this was the case. This info adds to the learning value of all these photos.
Raise your hand if you have a structure (and it is a SINGLE structure) like this one in your response district. Lots of hands going up.

Bmurphy – it is my understanding that the second floor, corner unit was where the fire originated. This series of photos began at or less than 10 minutes from the original dispatch.

Nice photos all around. Lots of excellent learning opportunities from this fire and associated media (tactics, building construction, resources, water supply and fire spread/behavior).
Questions for Mr Shapiro: in your first (top) picture of this post, is the apartment unit below the top floor/mansard fire-involved area the apartment unit of origin? Also, were these photos taken at initial stages of the fire? Thanks in advance!
