Crabby, as a photographer myself I couldn’t agree more. They don’t need a professional, but someone who can take a decent photo. Just buy an inexpensive dslr, and get out there and take the pic. I have seen them post actual photos instead of the composites, but that is few and far between.

I don’t recall Lake Zurich having all red rigs. Is this a new change or am I mistaken?

Good question but geez, how hard is it to take a picture these days?
It’s not like a whole day to set up a photo shoot like 100 years ago.

Then Why would they go through the trouble of taking another picture and putting it in as a whole new delivery?

It is the same engine. The first picture is without the graphics added and the second picture is with the graphics added onto the engine

It’s also possible that this was delivered a while ago but just put onto the site now. Pierce is pretty slow when it comes to adding trucks to their sites.

I am unsure if this is the same engine that was delivered last November. When I originally saw this, I thought it was, so I looked into it. It was on the front page of their Flickr page, which is usually the most up to date. The order number is the same, with this one being 31156 and the other one being 31156-1. This one was in the Spring 2018 delivery folder, but the other one was in the Fall 2017 folder. This one had graphics & decals on it, while the other one did not, other than that, they are both identical in looks. I’m not familiar with Lake Zurich FD, but I would assume either Pierce made a mistake or this is a sister truck to the one delivered in November that was part of the same order.

Didn’t they take delivery of this particular engine in November of last year? Unless they ordered more than 1. But why would this one have the same number as the one they took delivery of late last year. I agree very nice though.

Very nice and in no way obnoxious color combination.
