Two workers were rescued by Chicago firefighters from fallen scaffolding about 10 stories above Michigan Avenue on Tuesday morning.

Firefighters took out a window in the 530 block of North Michigan Avenue about 10:30 a.m. to bring in the workers who were originally reported as just hanging there, but it wasn’t as dire as that when firefighters arrived.  The scaffolding holding up the workers gave out in the area of Michigan and Grand avenues, leading to some street closures below as firefighters worked.
