20th Annual Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show (more)

Took this in on Saturday. Mainly police cars but a few rigs, some new to the show. The organizers put a lot of work into setting this up each year but the current venue in downtown Oswego makes quality vehicle photos pretty much impossible to get due to some very tight space limitations … that being said I managed to get a few mediocre shots. all are posted here

  Thanks, DH! I forgot their’s is a Grumman and not a KME.

  Mike, Glen Ellyn Tower 62 is a 1990 Grumman and still in service, looks great for its age as well.

  Did Broadview sell their tower ladder? No more active Grummans in the area now.

  Looks like they had some interesting old vehicles there.
  I had other things going on and it was a distance for me. I remember when I went in 2009 they had it at that MOOSEHEART. Plenty of space and quite a few fire apparatus that day. That was before I had a digital camera so at some point, I’ll have to scan them but I have so many I don’t know if my cheap printer can handle that without turning into melted plastic.
