This from Eric Haak:
Here is some video I shot at both the 2-11 and Still & Box this week. Kind of neat because it shows both Snorkel 2A and 5A being set up and both are probably going to be placed into reserve status very soon.

The fire ground with Squad 2 is a great example of what you can do with the small snorkel you could never do with a Tower Ladder.

Why not have the city at least put the boxes in service especially where Squad 1 is concerned since they are in a spare rig. I would imagine the other two boxes are not in the best shape either. It sounds like the “snorkels” might be gone for awhile, heck the city has been waiting for these new squads for so long now, why not at least put the boxes in service, it sounds like it will be another few months at least if they have to rework the coffin boxes.

The “snorkel” pieces are back at Rosenbauer having the coffin boxes reworked. The built boxes wouldn’t allow for the “snorkel” device to be utilized how the city would need.
They were built to spec so not a Rosenbauer “issue”

Anyone know when the new Squads are going into service?
