Those are great pic’s….I wish I knew the secret to such crisp pic’s that both Larry and Steve give us on a regular basis. Especially rig pic’s. Thanks to all contributors.

That’s a great shot of the Elmwood Park Bronto Skylift, Steve. That’s also a pretty sharp looking E/One cab.
Now that Chicago seems to be going back to E/One as a supplier it would be great if they started looking into making plans for the possibility of (a few years down the road) purchasing one or two 134′ E/One Bronto Skylifts for Aerial Tower 1 and perhaps Truck 3 or 6, as we know that the CFD started calling Truck 1 and previously Truck 3 aerial towers when they were using 135-foot aerial ladders. While Truck 1 is still called an aerial tower because of the prepiped waterway, it would be good if we went back to some high aerial apparatus, but this time the Skylift which is like a Snorkel as opposed to a straight ladder.
