Here are some images of a working fire in an occupied mobile home in the Sterling Estates Mobile Home Park in Justice on Monday (1/18). Fire came in just before 1300 hrs. After an initial interior attack, companies went defensive.

Wet-Down for new squad in Deerfield

On Monday, January 11, 2016, the Deerfield-Bannockburn FPD had a wet-down to place their new Squad 19 into service. As the inclement, frigid temperatures were an obstacle to using the water outside, several members of the gathering used a hardline inside the house once the firefighters and officers pushed the new rig into the station.

Also during the wet-down, the squad was dedicated to the memory of Deerfield-Bannockburn FF/PM Brad Hytoff. His family was on-hand and his parents placed a plaque on the driver’s door for the dedication.
