Didn’t North Riverside just obtain a new engine recently?

McCook is now kurtz scabs. The mayor refused als under the union full timers even though most were als & the others offer to get als cert. on their own time & dime. When they asked for more manpower the mayor tried to get his relatives and some voters to vote for pleasantview, that failed & he scabed out to kurtz. Correct me if i’m wrong, Lyons is now kurtz also & the owner is or was trying to cover mccook & lyons as 1 dept only. I believe Lyons 911 dispatch is contracted out to kurtz also.

Hi Rich:
I believe that vote for McCook to take over Pleasantview ended in a tie. It needed to have a majority vote, so it lost. I believe after that failing vote, I also believe they were privatized to Kurtz Ambulance Service.
Nothing against McCook, but I believe they are one of the few in the area to not provide ALS. Not sure if that changed when privatized.
As you can tell, I’m mostly certain I have the facts right, but I’m open to any corrections to inaccuracies.
