To be fair dispatch missed the request by command to raise the box to the second level 20 minutes or so after it was made. Listening to the feed, dispatch let command know they were 30 minutes into their incident and command asked where his fourth truck was, since he asked for the box to the second level 10 minutes in and that’s when dispatch did tone it out…

Meadows is good for one of these apartment fires every year. And the outcome is usually the same

It may be time that Rolling Meadows look to the Bloomingdale Fire Protection District for advice on how to require all the condo and apartment complex’s to retrofit all their building with sprinkler systems , if this complex had sprinklers in their building the fire would have been confined to one unit instead of the disaster that occurred.
