Drew,
Thank you. Do you have a reserve engine you are using?

@Rob: The 1997 HME/Luverne is totally O.O.S. and will be either be disposed of or auctioned off.

Congrats! Treat her well, & she’ll do the same!

Does the dept still have the 1997 HME/Luverne as a reserve engine?

@ Mike: We were fortunate enough for our village board to make an emergency purchase to replace the former Engine 416, a 1997 HME/Luvergne, that has been OOS since the early part of this year. Our aging fleet full of maintenance woes, necessitated the purchase of a demo apparatus. We are happy we finally have something new that will suit our needs.

I really like the simplicity of this engine! I’m confident it will serve the community well for many years to come. Does anyone know the reason why Bridgeview bought a demo engine?

The ladder storage is on the right side when looking at the rear of the rig. You can not see the door from these photos.

Interesting no ladders. I am thinking they come out the rear but I just see the 1 roll up door.

Nice classic look for this one with that conventional Q siren.
