It looks like the last two E-Ones that they have in their fleet–a 2001 (front-line) & a 1996 (reserve). Their other engines (82 & 84) are now Crimson/Spartans.

Great updates!! Just FYI–Palatine needs a couple more updates. According to their website, Quint 81 is now a reserve unit at Station 83; they are have two engines at Station 81 (front-line & reserve), as well as a Rehab unit (former ambulance). The former Squad 85 is at Station 82 now as a reserve. They also have a new command vehicle, with the last one going reserve. Thanks!!

thanks for the updates, but we can only make the changes when we have the appropriate photos … and it’s hard to keep up with the location of spares

Admin:
As you are probably aware, when Des Plaines switches over to RED Center this fall they will be changing their station and apparatus numbers:
Station 1 will be 61
Station 2 will be 62
Station 3 will be 63
With all apparatus corresponding to each station. Battalion 9 will become Battalion 61.

What is Wilmette rescue 27 be used for? I have heard it respond to medical emergencies in station 26’s still district, is this used instead of tower 26?

you can try entering Wilmette into the search filed, there may have been an explanation on the post when the unit was delivered

Great!!! It’s good that the webmaster keeps on top of the many changes that take place.
