Oh I know NJ. I like the new 82. I’ve been there a few times on Engine 68 after they got it. I’m still not liking the heavy duty bumper. I guess I’m used to the old style with the push bars. It will grow on me.

Saw A82 w/ it’s new rig about a month ago & have to say the new warning lights are excellent, really bright, 1st Ambo. I’ve seen w/ a green light.

I know they have a few F-450’s in the year range that you specified. However, all three remounts, which are 2013 model year are F-350.

Thanks Dennis and NJ. The city has f-450s the late model year range 2008-2010 (not sure what years) but example A8 is a F-450.

@Robert, there are three remounts (10,30 and 82) All have a very long protruding HD bumpers (with the air horns and sirens recessed behind them for protection), but no push bars.
Why are they using an F-450 Type I as an EMS training vehicle when the city is buying Type III and any Type I’s they remount are F-350?

There are two of them and they are EMS “Training” vehicles….

Will this go in service as a transport unit?

Robert, I highly doubt this will get anything else. It’s been in service at the Quinn for a few months now.

I hope it gets push bars and not what the two remounts have
