I havnt heard or read anything about tri cities moving over to STARCOM P 25 . Who or where did you get your information about tri cities moving . The last thing I heard is tri cities taking over SUGAR GROVE and NORTH AURORA fire department dispatch duties. Nothing about switching over to STARCOM P 25.

Martin, we are not ordering any new vehicles or apparatus at this time. Next time before posting anything on this blog about my department, please verify it from our Chiefs or me and not visiting fans. Thank you!

Any news on how the tri-cities are switching over? Saw, I believe Medic 152, now on an International chassis rather then a Ford.

Bennet EMS? Bennet III leasing is David B. ( Bennet) Hill III of Superior ambulance . Davy leased the ambulances to himself for the tax write off.

Keith, I was told by Jeremy who was at Station 1 at the time.
Josh, Horton was the one who told me about the ambulances. Don’t believe me, contact them.

Info on skokies new ambo:
2013 Horton to match Ambulance 18, but on a IH Terrastar Chassis.
This unit will be skokie’s first with the Stryker PowerLoad system, funded by a donation from the American Legion Post.
Eventually, all of Skokie’s ambulances will have the Power Load system courtesy of the Legion post.
