Huntley runs their Truck 983 as the only fire apparatus front line from Station 3 with an ambulance and Woodstock which has Truck 81 out of Sta 1 which can be used as a quint, but they try to use it as a truck and an engine coming in will do the engine work from. The other towns, having aerial ladders (whether trucks or tower ladders) have pumps, tank, and hose, they are run as Truck companies. Yes, hose can be pulled off, but they are not run in place of an engine company.
Richmond & Marengo are straight aerial ladders- no pump, tank or hose.

How many tower ladders do you guys have out there? Am I correct in assuming that you also use them as quints or at least you like the quint capability that some tower ladders can provide? Thanks in advance for any replies.
Thanks for photos Mr. Olk. We all appreciate your postings.
