This from Bill Friedrich:
Here is a shot that a friend sent of Lisle-Woodridge Truck 537 at it’s new home – Wellsburg VFD,WV. Sporting a new color the tower looks pretty sharp.
Anyone have a shot of this working at a fire in Lisle?

i really like that white over yellow Lisle-Woodridge paint scheme. And that’s a great shade of yellow for a fire truck.

The Pirsch tower was front line for many years. It was replaced when Lisle started buying the E-One towers. This photo was taken down the street from the Chicago Fire Academy following a Fire Prevention week parade in the mid 80’s

Was this a reserve tower for LWFD? 1979 seems to be really old for a front line rig. Even if it was a reserve piece, it is still pretty old. Any info???
