  Those were great shots. I find that the first shot taken on November 18th 1961 to be most interesting as I can spot quite a variety of apparatus on the street, including three Auto Car Squad companies, a 1948 “sedan cab” Mack Engine company, one of the “Jeep” Smoke Ejectors, the Jeep Light Wagon and a 1955 International Harvester High Pressure Wagon. Plus one of the two 1959, Ford High-Ranger Snorkels and several other rigs. While there were Snorkel companies in service at the time. This shot was taken before the first Snorkel Squads were put in service.
  The Squads were most likely Squads 1,2, and either 8 or 10.
  When this shot was taken, Engine 40, Truck 6, and Squad 1 were located just 2 streets west of City Hall at 119 N Franklin street. It was a 2 bay fire station which would be closed less than 2 years later.
