Hello to All:

Below, please find information regarding the 100th Anniversary Muster & Parade. Below, please find muster registration, hotel and activities and a link to the Seymour, WI VFD website.  In addition to the parade and music, you can make a full weekend of activities in the Green Bay area.

Lodging & Prices via Travelocity.com:

  • Radisson Hotel & Conference Center. This hotel is located at the Oneida Casino: $122/nt. This is the closest to the parade and events.
  • Aloft Green Bay: New riverfront hotel with adjacent restaurant. This is a very nice hotel with a break.  This upscale hotel is located next door to the National Railroad Museum and 2 minutes from Lambeau Field. $99/nt. The hotel is 20 minutes to the parade and events.
  • Hilton Garden Inn: Next door to Lambeau Field and in the heart of the stadium entertainment district.  5 minutes to the Railroad Museum and shopping. 15 minutes to the parade. Hotel has an Indoor pool and on-site restaurant. $88/nt.
  • The Hampton Inn Green Bay has a rate of $84/nt including breakfast. 15 minutes from parade and events. Restaurants, shopping and Lambeau Field nearby.

  • Seymour Youth Softball Tournament. Saturday. A great family park. Free admission. Food. Seymour Rock Ledge Park.

  • Seymour Hotel: A traditional Wisconsin Supper Club. Fun atmosphere and great food, good prices. Downtown Seymour. www.hotelseymour.com
  • Jackson Pointe: Located at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Seymour. Good food, inexpensive lunch and great location. www.crystalspringsgolf.com
  • Grazie’s: Italian family food, moderately priced. Located in Green Bay near the hotels mentioned above and Bay Park Square.
  • Titletown Brewery: Located on the riverfront in the Green Bay Railroad Depot. This micro brewery serves hearty meals and reasonably priced.
  • Curly’s Pub/Restaurant: Located inside Lambeau Field. Good food, moderately priced, Packer atmosphere.

Parade Registration: Every parade entrant will receive one complimentary ticket to the Oak Ridge Boys concert.  Additional tickets are $5 in advance. Please see attachment.

MABAS Division 4 – Revised Station/Apparatus Numbering

Lake County MABAS Division 4 has undergone a division wide systematic renumbering of stations and also the apparatus. This listing showing  revised station numbering  was forwarded by Bill Friedrich:
The county which consists of 26 fire departments and/or fire districts is divided into 4 quadrants. Each quad is represented by the first digit in the new numbering system. The second digit now represents the department within that quad and the final digit represents the station number for that particular department.

Abbott’s fire station is now Station 111

Beach Park is Station 121

Gurnee Stations 1 & 2 become Stations 131 & 132

Newport Stations 1 & 2 become Stations 141 & 142

North Chicago Stations 1 & 2 become Stations 151 & 152

Waukegan Stations 1-5 become Stations 161-165

Winthrop Harbor is now Station 171

Zion stations 1 & 2 become Stations 181 & 182

Great Lakes Naval Training Center Stations 1-3 become Stations 191-193

Antioch Stations 1-3  become Stations 211-213

Fox Lake Stations 1-3 become Stations 221-223

Lake Villa Stations 1-3 become Stations 241-243

Round Lake Stations 1-3 become Stations 261-263

Grayslake Stations 1 & 2 become Stations 271 & 272

The Buffalo Grove, Long Grove and Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Departments/Districts have previously renumbered their stations in conjunction with Northwest Central Dispatch (Buffalo Grove) or RED Center (Long Grove and Lincolnshire Riverwoods) and a re subsequently not participating in the new Lake County numbering system.
