Work is progressing on the construction of the new fire stations in Wheeling and Mount Prospect as illustrated in the recent photos of both projects.

The Downer Grove Fire Department has been added to Division 16. Thanks to Bill Friedrich, all four stations (that’s 1,2,3 & 5 … there isn’t a #4 currently) are on the site with the exception of a few reserve rigs. Their fleet is ‘Chicago-style’ black over red and is predominantly made up of Pierce and Medtec units.
