Members of the apparatus committee traveled to Rock Rapids Iowa Thursday to take possession of station two’s new ambulance. Arrow Ambulance specializes in remounting new chassis to existing work boxes which saves the fire district a substantial amount compared to buying an all new ambulance. Final Inspection Day !
Many thanks to the Peotone Fire Protection District for the contract for their new 2019 Ford F-550 V10 gas engine chassis, Medwerks re-mount of the customer’s body, complete paint job to match the fire district’s fleet, LED lighting upgrade, interior upgrade and Liquid Spring conversion.
The work was performed by Dean Martin & crew at Crossroads Ambulance Sales & Service, LLC.
Interstate is proud to be the Illinois representative. You can see the quality work first hand at the Illinois Fire Protection District show in Peoria, IL starting this Friday and Saturday in the Peoria Convention Center.
