Apparatus updates to the site

Many updates have been coming in for the site and as time permits they are added to the department pages. The following units have been added or updated:

  • Berwyn Car 900 and Utility 912 (Bill Friedrich)
  • Flossmoor Squad 1320 (Matt Schumann)
  • Glenside Ambulance has been added (Bill Friedrich)
  • Frankfort Ambulance 715, Rehab 776, Dive Rescue Squad 3 (Karl Klotz)
  • Frankfort Engine 741, Engine 751, Ambulance 4 (Matt Schumann)
  • Manhattan Tanker 1227 at Station 2 (Matt Schumann)
  • Norwood Park Car 111 (Drew Gresik)
  • Oak Lawn Medic 1, Service 20, Service 22 and Squad 1 (Engine 5) have been added (Mat Schumann)
  • North Palos FPD Ambulance 812 was added at Station 2
  • North Palos FPD Engine 823 was added at Station 3

Dennis McGuire, Jr. also submitted an image of North Palos FPD Ambulance 842 (now retired) that was formerly Worth Ambulance 6712.

Manhattan new tanker

This from Matt Schumann:

Manhattan – new unit at Sta. 2, Mounting of foam tank from a foam trailer used by the BP tank farm in Manhattan on the chassis of the former 1986 Chevy/Monroe tanker.  The Monroe tanker is no longer in use.

Manhattan FPD tanker 1227

Manhattan FPD is now running this Tanker 1227 with a 1,600-gallon tank from BP. The 1986 Chevy 70 Kodiak chassis previously had a 2,000-gallon tank built by Monroe Body. Matt Schumann photo
