The Manteno Community Fire Protection District sadly announces the passing of Trustee and Retired Fire Chief Maurice O’Keefe. Chief O’Keefe proudly served the Manteno community for over 63 years as a firefighter, police officer, the District’s first full time Fire chief, pension trustee and fire district trustee.We are grateful for the service and dedication that Chief O’Keefe provided to our community for so many years. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
