High Angle Rescue in Chicago, 10-28-16 (more)

Took in an unusual job at 4225 N Knox. A worker was atop a large water tower when he had a medical issue and needed help getting down. CFD sent a full tech rescue response. TL 23 was just able to make the catwalk around the base of the tank with the tower bucket and they ferried personnel and gear to that level. Members made an anchor point and using a safety harness assisted the man down the gooseneck ladder from the top of the tank to the catwalk. It appeared the victim was able to do most of this on his own and it looked like a smooth safe operation. All photos can be seen here
