Companies pushing out of nearby Station 23 reported a header and directed units to an asphalt contractor yard along the railroad tracks, just east of the MABAS Readiness Center.

Engine 23 found a fire in the yard next to a shed which extended to a stack of wood pallets and was impinging on a nearby truck with a tank filled with tar. They requested Squad 24 with pump-and-roll to make it’s way back into the yard to assist with a quick attack while Engine 24 dropped several hundred feet of LDH from the yard to a hydrant on the adjacent property.¬†Larry Shapiro was at the scene and submitted several images.
