Commercial fire in Chicago, 3-3-21 (more)

More photos of the Commercial fire in Chicago, 3-3-21

From Chi-Town Fire Photos:

Wednesday we were out on the south side when we heard Battalion 19 reporting a fire @ 61st and Halsted. First-in companies had smoke from the roof of a 1-sty strip mall, 50×150′. Engine 116 had two lines lead out and Truck 51 was up cutting some holes. Fast changing fire conditions forced Battalion 19 to pull everyone out and go defensive which brought the Still & Box. In total, there were 4 lines led out by Engines 116 & 84. Squad 5 Snorkel and TL 39 went to work with their master streams to knock down the bulk of the fire.
From Tri State – USFiR Photography:
Here are a few photos from the still and box alarm at 61st and Halsted Wednesday afternoon. We happened to be at 47th and Halsted when the 19th Battalion pulled up with smoke showing from the roof of a strip mall.

This from Drew Gresik:

Here are some shots from the Still & Box 1/12/15 in a Red X building @ #26 S Pulaski Road.

1/12/15- Around 1500 hours the 13th Battalion received a rundown for a working fire in a vacant Red-X structure at #26 S Pulaski. This 150×50, 2story ordinary, apartments over storefronts has been vacant for some years, and the structure was very suspect. As per Red-X protocol, crews stayed out of the building and dumped water from an exterior attack. Tower 14 and Snorkel Squad 2 worked elevated master streams. Four hand lines were stretched; two on Side A, one on Side C, and one on Side D. Engines 95, 38, 44, and 76 pumped at this fire.
