Here are a few shots from the 2nd Alarm Brush Box Monday (3/30/15) in Homer Township. The staging for this incident was at Cedar Road & Bruce Rd in the Forest Preserve. I also included a picture of their newer E-One engine.

Here are some photos of the 2nd Alarm Brush fire in Homer Glenn on Monday (3/30/15). I made it about 10 minutes after the 2nd alarm and by then they had it under control, but it looked like they had a couple acres going at one point.

Long Grove Brush 55

Karl Klotz recently photographed the new Alexis Brush rig in Long Grove. Brush 55 is a 2011 Ford F-550/Alexis with a 500-GPM pump, 500 gallons of water and a 30-gallon foam tank. Previous posts for this unit are HERE and HERE.
