Hawks66, this rig is part is 3 rig purchase for an overly large rescue engine. They have more than enough guys that if they are on double ambulance calls, this rig can still make it out the door.

Where is this small town of crestwood finding all this money for “special operations” trucks. Just a question . From what I hear they run an engine truck and 2 ambos and if both ambos are out they have no truck. So why not place the cut job tools on an engine that way you have water with you for the cut job. Idk. Hoping someone can clarify

Recent Deliveries to Illinois on their website include Hoffman Estates, Crestwood, AND Rolling Meadows

They also did a body on 5500 Chevy 4×4 Chassis for Oklahoma Cities Dive Rescue, with the rear chevron pattern done in stars and stripes.

gurnee il pw bought one on ihc chassic back in maybe 2014 brand new

bolingbrook pw bought brand new on peterbilt chassis

and algonquin bought a 2011 f series bought brand new for fleet services

all these are service body style chassis

Maintainer (now Ward) was formerly Rescue Vehicles of Iowa, Amtech (Danko Company), and Cayel Craft. Long history of rescue truck builds.

Maintainer Custom Bodies has become Ward Apparatus out of New York . Several departments in the area have their product. Arlington Heights, Crestwood, and Roselle has a new rescue as well which is in the process of being outfitted with equipment now.

Another small custom builder never heard of Maintainer Custom Bodies.It looks like a pretty nice build……..
