This is not Plainfield, IL. Their former Tower 1919 was a 2002 and is sold already. Plainfield has a new Pierce tower on order as previously posted.

Well the advantage of a short wheelbase is better maneuverability but a longer wheelbase is better for added stability. You are correct though Dan, it does appear rather short from the photo.

I think Harry is right I just looked at plainfields web site and theirs looks different……..

I guess one of the advantages of a short wheelbase is it’s easier to maneuver. You give up stability with short wheelbases.

Is it me, but dont the rear wheels seem to be really close to the front of the truck?

It does look like a Plainfield IL rig, white with a red stripe.

I believe last year there was a post about this. Only that one was their 2002 Pierce Dash. If this is Plainfield Illinois, this would have replaced the 02 Dash. I am guessing the Dash has been in reserve until it was sold. I would like to know what replaces this rig. I am guessing they are replacing their trucks every 10 years.

2013 would be considered late model it looks to be in great shape what is its replacement?
