I like the concept of putting the throttle close to the compound gauges, but I’d rather have it all the way to the left so I can feather the lines with my right arm. Does anybody know if this is a standard Seagrave pump panel or a custom design by Lockport?

I concur with you Mike. Another builder that seems to build for long term durability is SUTPHEN. West Allis has a few SEAGRAVE’s now starting in 2016.
All reports indicate that they love them. They were jerked around by PIERCE too many times so I doubt they would go back to them. You get what you pay for like it or not. You could buy a low cost plastic vacuum cleaner and hope to get 5 years out of it or pay a lot more for a KIRBY that will last for decades. I know that since I have 2 of them.

Seagrave is really designed and built for a longevity! I truly believe Seagrave builds the best pumpers on the market. Lockport should get a good 20 years out of this rig.

Looks like a no nonsense engine I’ve always been a great fan of the Mars 888 lights……..
