Aidan, 103 struck a center median/planter box on Madison ave I believe and sustained some damage to the front of their rig

What happened with Engine 103’s rig? It has been out for awhile now.

I believe it was roughly 98,000 $’s to repair the damage to E125 and E103 should be repaired soon as well at roughly 60,000 $’s

I have to agree with Harry, I think they are eye catching. In DC their new ambulances have those, as well as an led strip running around the top. I think the pin wheels are very visible in my experience.

ffpmtpm if the pinwheel lights are not eye catching then how did I see a 48 for almost a mile in broad daylight and I guess I am not the only one who likes them because Chicago does too but I also agree there are good and bad leds the ones on the pierce trucks and 2002 spartan engines were terrible

What was the extent of the damage to this rig? Who did the repair?

I’m with FFPMTOM. Those pinwheel lights aren’t eye catching at all. That specific light head has so many other flash patterns. Is the pinwheel in the Chicago spec?

Harry- I disagree 100% about the pinwheel lights, they aren’t eye-catching at all. They are constantly on and not very bright, they don’t have the bright pulsing other LED lights do

I cant figure why some don’t like the so called pin wheel led I think they are very eye catching and that is important

Hopefully they replaced those ugly ass pin wheel lights like the ambos have.

Cosmetically it looks great! Wonderful job on the body work! Hopefully there are no future mechanical issues down the road. I am sure Engine 125 is ecstatic they are getting their rig back.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Looks like they did a great job making the repairs! Glad to see it will be going back in service soon!

I’m pretty sure that Engine 125 came from the factory with the rear chevrons put on. Hopefully they will put the bumper chevrons on the other 2016 engines such as 73 and 121.

I see they added the striping to the front bumper and I would guess the rear as well
