It’s years old but I’ve never seen it before.
Air Rescue Fire Station No. 2
Client: Care Plus O’HareArchitect: Ghafari AssociatesLocation: O’Hare Airport Chicago, ILYear: 2009
O’Hare’s ARFF Station No. 2 is designed to maximize user performance by means of optimized spatial organization. Composed as a series of zones, the spaces are strategically layered in modes of extracurricular activity, sleeping-quarters, and rescue dispatch. These defined zones respond to one another by shifting to create privacy, sound barriers, and daylight opportunities.

1. Cause I hate seeing legitimate departments get bushwhacked by politicians and turned into departments that can’t tread water.
2.Cause every time I comment on them, these losers censor me on this website.

Hey Clark, just curious, but what is your deal with Elk Grove? Why do u despise them so much?

Thank for the correction. Regardless, it’s hard to see them unless you are a member of the department or taxi by.

It doesn’t exist. These are old conceptual drawings of Rescue 2. The new one has since opened and looks nothing like these.

Looks impressive. Unless you taxi by in a plane, most people can’t see those stations.
