Localguy – I’m with you 100% The 105′ ladder is solid. The Ascendent is garbage. The Ascendent has so many limitations its pathetic! Definitely not designed for longevity either. Of course, Pierce sales teams won’t tell you any of this.

Sad. They got away from pierce as did normal. Well and every other paid dept in central IL. Pierce is probably giving BFD this truck for an amazing deal to try to get back into central il. Heard it was 40k less than anyone else. Not typical for pierce. Sad part it’s an accident aerial. If you must get a pierce get the good old 105 that’s been around. I’ve seen and heard to many horror stories about the assented line. Couldn’t pay me to take one right now.

Interesting they went back to Pierce, they have been purchasing E-Ones the last several years. I wonder which Truck this will replace?
