Bill you are correct. 6 engines, 2 trucks one being a tower and this will be the west side stick. Also carries rescue tools. And a heavy rescue. Champaign and Urbana are both class 1 departments. They have 5 Rosenbauer engines and a new Spartan. The tower is a Pierce. Then these two new Ferraras will replace a Pierce squad and Pierce 105 stick.

Michael M, Champaign Illinois has 6 stations with 6 engine companies, 2 trucks, and a heavy duty squad. It is also a Class 1 fire department. Other than that I don’t know much more about them.

How old are the Rosenbauer engines? Are they 2014 and 2015 engines?

Looks nice so far.
Back in December, there was talk about Downers Grove getting a new engine. Does anyone know when production will begin on it or when it is expected to be delivered?

Just curious as to how much this ladder truck costs vs a normal truck costs.
