While a the Still & Box on Peoria 9/21/17, Truck 50 landed at 5932 s Hermitage with a 1.5-sty frame and a fire in the attic. Engine 84 and 15 lead out. Truck 50 was working the roof.

If you’re not on air then there is no point in bringing the harness to the roof. It slows you down, restricts your movement and throws your center of gravity off. So unless you have your face piece on and breathing air off the harness wearing it up there is a waste of time.

But at least the smoke on the roof is always non-toxic and non-carcinogenic.

It’s hard to adjust seeing those guys with chainsaws now instead of using hand tools.
