Further more Chrysler is a far less superior product then most cars as far as quality. For Example the Dodge Caravan vs Honda Odyssey. The Oddysey is 45k vs 30k for the Caravan. Some will save the 15k and deal with the problems in the future. The mindset with Pierce is people will pay the premium in price because they think they are the best. Depts will spend 100k more per Engine but they are getting shitty Chrysler quality. Pierce uses 1/8 inch material on their bodies, they have subpar frame rails, lower gauge stainless steel, etc….. all for more money. Their marketing manager should get the biggest raise in the world. Its all a gimmick. Its like Nike Shoes. They are the most popular but New Balance makes a better shoe at a better price.

Well then why does PIERCE say that they will stand behind their products against rust issues and then stonewall and jerk the customers around. Somebody isn’t right here and it’s not just one or two departments.
CHRYSLER products are as nice as any other builder but they have a very long history of quality problems. I’ve been a delivery driver for 32 years and have driven full size and mini vans from GM, FORD and CHRYSLER. The CHRYSLER products in my case were fair to horrible in terms of quality problems.
My mom has had some very bad problems with her CHRYSLER product that have been corrected but she will think twice if she ever replaces it with another CHRYSLER product.
Your friend obviously did something right or happened to get a good one.

Well, it’s a shame that we have to talk about PIERCE and crap in the same sentence but they get what they deserve.
Some people have blind loyalty. If that wasn’t the case, CHRYSLER would have been out of business long ago.

Well Michael some departments just have to have the Pierce. They drink the Pierce Kool Aid. Now whats interesting is Kool Aid is just fake fruit juice with no nutritional value.

Interesting with the current lawsuit against Pierce they are still getting orders from the Chicago suburbs.
