EPFD SS3 is also listed on various MABAS Box Cards in 21 and surrounding area as a squad company in addition to acting as a reserve aerial device

The producer should have looked at buying Orland’s snorkel, although it’s now sold.

Evergreen SS3 (snorkel squad 3) is a 2nd line rig and reserve truck when truck 44 is OOS.
I am surprised they didn’t leave it as SS3 with the Chicago lettering but then again that hasn’t been part of the show, a two-piece squad company.

You are right, it has been used to film the show before. It was in the season finale lettered as Squad 3.

Was this truck on the season finale two or three seasons ago? I believe it was on the same episode that the old fireboat was in. I believe that at the time, it still had the 3 on the door.
