  For some reason, SEAGRAVE had problems when they introduced lower cost chassis. Seems to work for PIERCE and SPARTAN but SEAGRAVE does better to concentrate on one chassis.

  The replacement vehicle is in better mechanical condition than the Segrave, we have had multiple issues with it as well. The Rescue/Engine currently has less road, pump and engine hours on it than when the Segrave had when it was delivered. The replacement vehicle suites the needs of the fire department more so than the Segrave.
