The second Engine, (823) will be ready at the end of January. The new e-one twins are matching the existing 2003 e-one (813) that will be placed in reserve status and renumbered 803. The 2005 e-one (823) will be placed in reserve status and renumbered 833.

Glad to see NP getting these new engines. I’ve been watching them being built and wondered who would get them. E813 has been running 803 on and off the last few months. Honestly, I’d be upset if they sold 803. That thing is a beast! It sounds great going down 95th street. If no one wants it, donate it to me!

Josh is correct. The first engine, if not delivered already, was at Fire Service getting a punch list completed and will be assigned to Engine 813 at their Station 2. The second engine in production, was on the second awarded grant, will replace Engine 823 at Station 3 in Worth. The current Engines 813 and 823 will be renumbered and placed in reserve and the current reserve engines 803 and 833 will be sold or donated.

These will replace both older engines?
