Do they have a small downtown area that they need to navigate?

Interesting they went with a HME after almost an all pierce fleet. The RAT is one of the smaller Engine’s HME makes.

I am guessing this will replace Engine 51? Didn’t 52 get a new Pierce a year or two ago? What were they looking for a apparatus that was small and could navigate narrow streets easier? The RAT does not look like it can carry as much firefighting equipment at a regular sized engine.
